“Amazing Experience”

What an amazing experience!! This was my second time rafting with my kids, and it did not disappoint. Our guides Mason and Eric were absolutely amazing… so knowledgeable about the local area, they made the trip so fun. We didn’t want it to end. We will be back for sure and recommend Kootenay River Runners to everyone we come across. Thank-you for the beautiful memories.

We had a fantastic time rafting the Kicking Horse in August. Our guide Dean was super knowledgeable and was a delight to raft with. On a river full of operators, I highly recommend going with Kootenay River Runners if you want an awesome time rafting in Golden.

“Best whitewater rafting experience”

Whitewater rafting at its finest. Dean guided us down the river through the rapids with experience and incredible knowledge. The entire team is professional and keeps safety their number one priority. We will return in early summer next year to do another tour down the river. “Safety is a top priority”

Definitely recommend these guys. Staff were friendly and engaging, safety is obviously a top priority, and the guides and equipment inspire confidence. Dean was a great guide, very personable and thoroughly experienced. I was impressed with how he handled the boat and made sure everyone from front to back got to fully experience the rapids. Some really fun rapids too – I hope to go back in spring sometime when they’re really pumping.
